1. Purpose and scope

These Community Guidelines apply to League Walls, comments, replies, likes, reactions, display names, and other community features made available through StatsNGuts.

They apply to public and private leagues and form part of the rules governing your use of StatsNGuts. They should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The simple rule

Debate cricket strongly, challenge ideas, and enjoy rivalry—but do not attack, deceive, exploit, or endanger other people.

2. Respectful cricket discussion

We welcome:

  • match and player analysis;
  • fantasy strategy and selection discussion;
  • league rivalry and good-faith debate;
  • humour, memes, and friendly banter;
  • questions, corrections, and respectful disagreement;
  • celebrating wins and discussing losses; and
  • constructive feedback about StatsNGuts.

Criticise an idea, selection, performance, or strategy without degrading the person who posted it. Repeatedly targeting a user, following them across threads, or encouraging others to pile on may be treated as harassment.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not post, reply with, link to, or encourage content that:

  • threatens, harasses, bullies, stalks, intimidates, or promotes violence against a person or group;
  • attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected or vulnerable characteristic;
  • is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, or involves sexual content concerning a child;
  • reveals private or sensitive information, including addresses, phone numbers, financial details, passwords, OTPs, or identity documents;
  • impersonates another person, misrepresents an identity, or uses a misleading account to deceive users;
  • makes knowingly false, defamatory, or malicious allegations, including unsupported accusations of cheating, corruption, or match fixing presented as fact;
  • promotes illegal conduct, unlawful gambling, paid-entry schemes presented as StatsNGuts activities, or other activity prohibited by applicable law;
  • contains malware, malicious code, phishing links, or attempts to compromise accounts or devices;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
  • otherwise violates our Terms, activity rules, or applicable law.

4. Banter, rivalry, and strong opinions

Cricket banter and rivalry are welcome when they remain playful and focused on teams, matches, performances, and ideas.

Banter becomes unacceptable when it includes:

  • personal threats or targeted humiliation;
  • slurs or discriminatory abuse;
  • sexual harassment or degrading comments;
  • repeated unwanted contact;
  • encouraging mass harassment or reporting; or
  • sharing private information to intimidate someone.

“It was only banter” does not excuse conduct that reasonably puts another user at risk or makes the community unusable for others.

5. Scams, promotions, and payment requests

Do not use League Walls to:

  • request entry fees for a StatsNGuts league or contest;
  • sell Premium access, SNG Tokens, accounts, or prizes;
  • ask users for card details, UPI PINs, OTPs, or passwords;
  • promote phishing, referral abuse, or deceptive offers;
  • promise guaranteed fantasy winnings or financial returns;
  • misrepresent a private prize as guaranteed by StatsNGuts;
  • post repeated unauthorised advertising; or
  • solicit money through misleading or coercive claims.
Private-contest prizes

A private-contest host is responsible for any prize the host promises. StatsNGuts does not hold, verify, guarantee, or fulfil host-promised prizes.

6. Privacy and personal information

Treat League Wall posts as visible to other users who can access that league or wall. A public wall may be visible more broadly.

Do not post:

  • passwords, OTPs, PINs, or payment credentials;
  • private addresses, phone numbers, or personal email addresses;
  • government identifiers or financial records;
  • private messages without appropriate permission;
  • another person’s confidential information; or
  • information that could reasonably endanger someone.

Use a display name you are comfortable showing to other league members. Details about community-data processing are provided in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property and original content

Post content you created or have permission to use. Do not upload or reproduce articles, paid reports, images, videos, datasets, or other protected material without the required rights.

You may share a short quotation or link for genuine discussion where permitted by law, but should not use the League Wall to redistribute Premium content or another person’s work at scale.

Our Terms explain the limited licence you grant StatsNGuts to host, display, format, moderate, and operate the content you submit.

8. Spam, automation, and manipulation

Do not:

  • post the same or substantially similar message repeatedly;
  • use bots or scripts to post, reply, like, or react;
  • coordinate fake engagement or mass reporting;
  • create multiple accounts to evade restrictions;
  • manipulate discussions relating to prizes or SNG Tokens;
  • exploit a technical error to amplify content or engagement;
  • mislead users through edited or fabricated evidence; or
  • disrupt a wall so that others cannot reasonably use it.

9. Visibility and responsibility for posts

Your display name may appear with your comments, replies, likes, reactions, and other community activity. Other users may quote, reply to, or discuss your posts.

You are responsible for the User Content submitted through your account and for ensuring that it is lawful and consistent with these Guidelines.

User posts are not official StatsNGuts analysis and may be inaccurate. Check important cricket, fantasy, payment, prize, and account information independently before relying on a community post.

10. Moderation and enforcement

StatsNGuts may take proportionate action based on the content, context, severity, risk, account history, and applicable law. Actions may include:

  • issuing a warning;
  • limiting the visibility of content;
  • removing or disabling access to content;
  • restricting replies, likes, or community access;
  • temporarily suspending an account;
  • permanently terminating an account;
  • revoking prizes or SNG Tokens where community abuse is linked to fraud, manipulation, or disqualification; and
  • preserving or disclosing information where required or permitted by applicable law.

We may act without advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety, security, evidence preservation, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

StatsNGuts is not required to pre-screen every post and cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected immediately.

11. Reporting content or conduct

While an in-product reporting feature is unavailable, report a League Wall concern by emailing connect@statsnguts.com.

Include, where available:

  • the league or wall name;
  • the display name associated with the content;
  • the approximate date and time;
  • a link, screenshot, or description that identifies the post;
  • why you believe it violates these Guidelines; and
  • whether there is an immediate safety or security risk.

Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, complete card details, or other sensitive credentials. Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports may itself violate these Guidelines.

12. Grievances and review of decisions

To raise a grievance or request a review of a moderation decision, email connect@statsnguts.com from the email address associated with your account where possible.

Identify the relevant account, league, content, decision, and the reason you believe further review is appropriate. We may request reasonable information to verify the account or locate the content.

Complaints and grievances will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our operational procedures. Certain categories of unlawful or high-risk content may require faster action or preservation of evidence.

13. Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines to reflect changes to League Walls, moderation tools, safety practices, community risks, applicable law, or StatsNGuts features.

The revised version will show an updated date. Where a change is material, we may also provide notice through StatsNGuts, your account, email, or another appropriate channel.
