Third-party services such as Google, Amazon Web Services, Razorpay, Amazon, and external websites have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not govern personal data that those parties independently collect or control through their services.

Payment and authentication credentials

Full card details, UPI PINs, banking passwords, payment OTPs, and similar payment credentials are handled by Razorpay and the relevant payment providers. Account passwords and verification processes are handled through AWS Cognito. You should never send these credentials to StatsNGuts by email or support message.

3. Accounts, AWS Cognito, and Google sign-in

StatsNGuts uses Amazon Web Services Cognito (“AWS Cognito”) to support account registration, authentication, account verification, password management, and login sessions.

Manual account registration

You may create a StatsNGuts account by providing a username, email address, and password. AWS Cognito processes the registration and sends a one-time verification code to confirm your account or email address.

Authentication credentials are handled through AWS Cognito. You are responsible for choosing a secure password and protecting access to your email account and devices.

Google sign-in

You may alternatively sign in using your Google account. When you select Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and provides AWS Cognito and StatsNGuts with information permitted by the configured sign-in process.

This information may include your Google account identifier, profile name, and email address. We use it to create or identify your StatsNGuts account, authenticate your session, and display your account name where required.

Google independently processes information connected with your Google account and sign-in under Google’s own privacy policy and account settings.

Verification and security communications

AWS Cognito may send account-confirmation codes, password-reset codes, verification messages, and other authentication-related communications on behalf of StatsNGuts.

4. How we collect personal data

We may collect personal data:

  • directly from you when you register, subscribe, participate, redeem a reward, submit a form, or contact us;
  • from AWS Cognito when it authenticates, verifies, or manages your account;
  • from Google when you choose Google sign-in and authorise the configured account information to be shared;
  • automatically through cookies, Google Analytics, server logs, local storage, security tools, and similar technologies;
  • from Razorpay and payment participants when they confirm, reject, reverse, refund, or update a transaction;
  • from Amazon or the applicable voucher-fulfilment process when a redemption is issued or updated;
  • from a private-contest host or participant when they report suspected abuse, a dispute, or a rules violation;
  • from service providers supporting hosting, communications, authentication, analytics, monitoring, or security; and
  • through information generated when you use StatsNGuts features.

5. How we use personal data

We may process personal data to:

  • create, verify, authenticate, and secure accounts;
  • support username-and-password registration and Google sign-in;
  • send verification codes, password-reset messages, and security communications;
  • provide cricket statistics, analysis, saved preferences, and platform functionality;
  • process and activate Monthly and Yearly Premium plans;
  • display subscription status and control access to Premium features;
  • operate quizzes, leagues, contests, rankings, promotions, and private-contest tools;
  • publish and display League Wall posts, comments, replies, likes, reactions, and related community activity;
  • moderate User Content, investigate reports, enforce the Community Guidelines, and communicate moderation decisions;
  • calculate scores, display leaderboards, award SNG Tokens, and verify winners;
  • fulfil official StatsNGuts prizes and Amazon voucher redemptions;
  • prevent duplicate accounts, automation, manipulation, fraud, payment abuse, and other prohibited conduct;
  • provide support and respond to enquiries, complaints, grievances, and deletion requests;
  • send transactional messages concerning accounts, payments, Premium access, security, prizes, SNG Tokens, and redemptions;
  • send promotional communications where permitted and consistent with your preferences;
  • analyse usage, diagnose errors, monitor performance, and improve StatsNGuts;
  • maintain financial, security, audit, and legal records;
  • enforce our Terms and activity-specific rules; and
  • comply with applicable law, lawful requests, and regulatory obligations.

We process personal data based on your consent, the steps needed to provide services you request, security and fraud-prevention requirements, compliance with legal obligations, and other grounds permitted by applicable law.

6. Payments and Razorpay

StatsNGuts uses Razorpay as its third-party payment gateway for Premium subscription payments.

When you proceed to checkout, Razorpay and the relevant bank, card network, UPI provider, payment application, or other financial institution may independently collect and process payment, transaction, device, and compliance information.

StatsNGuts generally receives limited information needed to identify the order, confirm payment status, activate Premium, provide support, investigate payment issues, maintain business records, and prevent fraud.

Razorpay processes personal data under its own privacy notices and applicable terms. Its processing may include personal identifiers, transaction information, technical information, and information used for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Do not send card numbers, UPI PINs, banking passwords, payment OTPs, or similar confidential payment credentials to StatsNGuts by email or support message.

7. StatsNGuts Premium subscriptions

StatsNGuts Premium is available as a Monthly plan providing 30 days of access and a Yearly plan providing 365 days of access. Both plans include the same Premium features and do not renew automatically. We process account, selected-plan, payment-confirmation, activation, and expiry information to provide and manage Premium access.

During an active term, subscribers receive access to all features designated as Premium, including eligible Premium features added and made generally available during that term.

We may use subscription information to:

  • confirm whether Premium access is active;
  • display subscription start and expiry dates;
  • provide Premium-only functionality;
  • respond to payment and access-support requests;
  • investigate payment disputes or account misuse; and
  • communicate important account, service, or subscription information.

Because Premium does not renew automatically, no new payment is initiated when the selected access period ends. After expiry, you may actively purchase a new Monthly or Yearly plan.

8. Quizzes, leagues, contests, and prizes

StatsNGuts may operate free-to-play cricket quizzes, leagues, contests, rankings, and promotions.

We process participation information to administer these activities, calculate results, publish rankings, verify eligibility, prevent abuse, award SNG Tokens, and fulfil official StatsNGuts prizes.

StatsNGuts does not currently collect tax-identification information for prizes, SNG Tokens, or Amazon voucher redemptions.

For an Amazon voucher redemption, we use the account email address or another email address provided by the user for voucher delivery. Amazon completes the voucher-fulfilment process.

If another type of official StatsNGuts prize requires delivery information, the applicable activity rules or fulfilment process will explain what limited information is required before it is collected.

We may retain participation, winner, reward, and verification records to resolve disputes, enforce rules, prevent repeat abuse, maintain accurate results, and comply with applicable obligations.

9. Display names, leaderboards, and participant visibility

StatsNGuts displays account names in leaderboards, leagues, quizzes, contests, rankings, and private contests.

For a manually created account, the displayed name is the username or display name selected during registration. For an account created through Google sign-in, the displayed name is generally based on the profile name provided through Google.

Your display name, score, points, ranking, entry, or result may be visible to other StatsNGuts users when public visibility is a normal part of the relevant leaderboard, league, quiz, or contest.

In a private contest or League Wall, the same display-name information and relevant contest or community activity may be visible to the host, league members, and other users who can access that feature.

Choose an appropriate display name

Do not use a display name containing sensitive personal information that you do not want other participants to see.

10. League Walls and community data

League Walls allow users to discuss cricket strategy, leagues, fantasy selections, results, and related topics by posting comments, replying to other users, and liking or reacting to content.

When you use a League Wall, StatsNGuts processes the content you submit, your display name, the relevant league and thread, the time of the activity, and interactions such as replies, likes, or reactions. We use this information to publish the discussion, organise threads, notify or connect interactions where supported, maintain counts, prevent abuse, and operate the community feature.

Who can see League Wall content

League Wall content may be visible to users who can access the relevant league or wall. Where a league or wall is identified as public, content may be visible more broadly. Your display name appears with your posts and may also appear with replies, likes, reactions, reports, or other community activity where relevant.

Do not post sensitive personal information

Do not publish passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, private contact details, government identifiers, confidential information, or another person’s personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.

Moderation, reports, and enforcement

We may process reports, supporting information, moderation notes, content history, account history, technical signals, and related communications to investigate potential violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines and to protect users and the platform.

We may hide, restrict, remove, or preserve User Content and may restrict community features or accounts where reasonably necessary for moderation, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, evidence preservation, or legal compliance.

To report content while an in-product reporting tool is unavailable, email connect@statsnguts.com with the league name, the display name involved, the approximate time, and a description or link that helps us locate the content. Do not send passwords, OTPs, or payment credentials.

Deletion and retention

Community content may not disappear immediately when an account is closed or when content is restricted. Depending on the feature and the reason for retention, we may delete the content, anonymise the associated display name, preserve limited copies in backups, retain moderation or security records, or retain records required for disputes, investigations, or legal compliance.

Replies, quotes, or discussion context created by other users may remain even where the original account or content is removed.

Community use is also governed by our Community Guidelines.

11. SNG Tokens and Amazon vouchers

SNG Tokens are internal StatsNGuts reward points. They cannot be purchased, sold, transferred between accounts, or redeemed for cash.

SNG Tokens can only be redeemed for Amazon vouchers in denominations made available by StatsNGuts. The current redemption rate is 10,000 SNG Tokens for ₹1,000 in Amazon vouchers.

We process token and redemption data to:

  • calculate and display SNG Token balances;
  • record how tokens were earned or adjusted;
  • validate redemption eligibility;
  • submit and fulfil Amazon voucher redemptions;
  • maintain fulfilment and support records;
  • respond to redemption enquiries; and
  • detect fraud, duplicate accounts, manipulation, or disqualification.

SNG Tokens do not expire because of the passage of time. Token records may nevertheless be corrected, withheld, or revoked following verified fraud, manipulation, abuse, disqualification, or a material rules violation.

Amazon independently processes information associated with issuing and using an Amazon voucher. Amazon’s processing is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

12. Google Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies

StatsNGuts uses cookies, local storage, server logs, Google Analytics, and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the service.

Essential technologies

Essential technologies may be used to maintain login sessions, authenticate accounts, provide security, remember settings, control Premium access, prevent fraud, and deliver requested functionality.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors reach and use StatsNGuts, measure page and feature performance, identify technical problems, and improve the user experience.

Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, session activity, approximate location, browser information, device information, referral source, and interactions with the Website.

Analytics choice

Google Analytics is optional. The analytics script does not load and analytics events are not sent unless you allow analytics through our privacy banner or Cookie Settings. If you reject analytics, essential StatsNGuts features remain available.

Your privacy choice is stored in your browser so StatsNGuts can remember it on later visits. The preference record contains the selected categories, a consent-version number, and the time the choice was saved.

Analytics retention

StatsNGuts currently uses the default data-retention configuration of its Google Analytics property.

Google Analytics retention controls apply to certain user-level and event-level information. Google may also retain or process information according to its own settings, terms, and legal obligations.

Browser choices

You can change your analytics choice at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future analytics collection and StatsNGuts attempts to remove common Google Analytics cookies from the browser.

You may also restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent account, security, or other StatsNGuts features from working correctly. Google provides additional account and browser controls for its services.

13. How we share personal data

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose limited personal data where reasonably necessary to the following categories of recipients:

  • Other users and league participants: your display name, posts, replies, reactions, likes, scores, and related activity may be visible to users who can access the relevant league, leaderboard, contest, or community feature.
  • Authentication providers: AWS Cognito and Google, where you use the relevant sign-in option.
  • Payment providers: Razorpay, banks, payment networks, UPI providers, and related payment participants.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: vendors supporting application hosting, databases, storage, content delivery, monitoring, and security.
  • Analytics providers: including Google Analytics.
  • Communication providers: vendors that support account verification, email, support, and service communications.
  • Voucher and prize providers: including Amazon where required to fulfil an Amazon voucher redemption.
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants subject to appropriate duties.
  • Authorities and legal recipients: where disclosure is required by law, a lawful request, legal process, or the protection of rights and security.
  • Business-transfer recipients: parties involved in a lawful merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of the relevant business.

Service providers should receive only the information reasonably required to perform their role, subject to their contractual and legal responsibilities.

14. Private contests

A private contest is created and managed by its host. StatsNGuts processes information needed to create the contest, admit participants, calculate scores, display rankings, investigate reports, and operate the private-contest feature.

Your display name, entry, score, points, and ranking may be visible to the private-contest host and other participants.

Private-contest hosts are independently responsible for personal information they request or collect outside StatsNGuts, including information requested to fulfil a host-promised prize.

Private-contest prize information

StatsNGuts does not fulfil or guarantee prizes promised by private-contest hosts. Do not provide passwords, bank credentials, card details, UPI PINs, or OTPs to a private-contest host.

15. How long we retain personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide StatsNGuts, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, protect security, and comply with applicable financial, corporate, and legal obligations.

Retention considerations may include:

  • whether your account remains active;
  • whether a Premium subscription, payment, refund, prize, token, voucher, League Wall report, moderation matter, complaint, or deletion request remains unresolved;
  • financial, corporate, security, and legal-record requirements;
  • the need to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts, or repeated rules violations;
  • the configured retention period of Google Analytics, AWS Cognito, Razorpay, Amazon, or another service provider; and
  • pending disputes, legal claims, complaints, or lawful requests.

When information is no longer required, we may delete it, anonymise it, aggregate it so that it no longer identifies an individual, or securely isolate it pending deletion.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until overwritten through ordinary backup and recovery processes.

16. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, organisational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Safeguards may include:

  • AWS Cognito authentication and verification controls;
  • restricted administrative access;
  • encrypted transmission where appropriate;
  • security logging, monitoring, and fraud detection;
  • backup and recovery processes;
  • service-provider and access reviews; and
  • incident-response procedures.

No online service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should use a strong, unique password, protect access to your email and Google accounts, secure your devices, and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

17. Data-processing locations and transfers

StatsNGuts and its service providers, including AWS, Google, Razorpay, and Amazon, may process personal data from locations outside your state or country.

Where personal data is processed across borders, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, organisational, and technical safeguards and to comply with applicable Indian data-protection requirements.

18. Your privacy rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, identity verification, and lawful exceptions, you may ask us to:

  • provide information about personal data we process about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • update outdated information;
  • erase information that is no longer required or legally retained;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • stop promotional communications while continuing to receive necessary transactional messages;
  • address a complaint or grievance concerning our processing; or
  • exercise another right provided under applicable law.

Withdrawing consent does not make previous lawful processing invalid. It may prevent us from providing a feature that depends on the relevant information.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, locate the relevant account, protect other users, and prevent fraudulent requests.

19. Account-deletion requests

StatsNGuts currently accepts account-deletion requests by email. To request deletion, email connect@statsnguts.com from the email address associated with your account.

Include “StatsNGuts Account Deletion Request” in the subject and identify the account you want deleted. Do not include your password, OTP, UPI PIN, or payment credentials.

We may ask you to complete reasonable verification steps before deleting the account. This protects users from fraudulent or unauthorised deletion requests.

After verification, we will delete, disable, or anonymise the account and associated personal data that is no longer required. League Wall content may be deleted, anonymised, or retained in limited form where needed to preserve discussion context, enforce rules, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, preserve evidence, or comply with law. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

  • payment and financial records;
  • completed Premium subscriptions;
  • fulfilled vouchers or prizes;
  • fraud, security, or abuse prevention;
  • dispute resolution;
  • legal compliance; or
  • the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Deleting your StatsNGuts account does not delete your independent Google, Amazon, AWS, or Razorpay account or the records those providers retain under their own policies.

20. Children’s privacy

Premium purchases, voucher redemptions, and prize-bearing activities are intended for users who are legally eligible under the applicable rules and Terms.

Unless a feature’s published rules expressly state otherwise, these activities are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly request children to purchase Premium, independently redeem vouchers, or provide payment information.

Contact us if you believe that a child has provided personal data contrary to these requirements.

21. Third-party services and links

StatsNGuts uses or links to third-party services including AWS Cognito, Google, Google Analytics, Razorpay, Amazon, social networks, cricket-data sources, and external fantasy platforms.

These organisations independently determine aspects of their data processing. We recommend reviewing their privacy notices and account settings before using their services.

A link, integration, sign-in option, payment facility, or voucher does not mean that StatsNGuts controls the third party’s privacy, security, or retention practices.

22. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in StatsNGuts, authentication, Premium subscriptions, payments, contests, prizes, SNG Tokens, vouchers, analytics, service providers, security practices, or legal requirements.

The revised version will show an updated date at the top of this page. Where a change is material, we may also provide notice through StatsNGuts, your account, email, or another appropriate channel.

The updated Policy applies from its stated effective date.

23. Privacy contact and grievance requests

To ask a privacy question, exercise an applicable right, request account deletion, report League Wall content, challenge a moderation decision, report a concern, or submit a grievance, contact:
