How contests work
Build your team
- Platform contests are free to play.
- Select eleven eligible players before the published lock time.
- Choose one captain and one vice-captain.
- Your saved team can be updated until the contest locks.
Rankings
- Teams are ranked by total fantasy points.
- The leaderboard and rewards remain provisional until match data and fair-play checks are complete.
- The contest page shows the published reward structure and final ranking.
Create and invite
- Private contests are free to play and are created by StatsNGuts users.
- A user with hosting access chooses the match, participant limit, lock settings and optional prize description.
- StatsNGuts generates a join code that the host can share with invited users.
- Hosting follows the Premium access shown on the host's account.
Join and compete
- Invited users sign in, enter the join code and build their team before the contest locks.
- Rankings use the same published fantasy-point rules as platform contests.
- The host alone funds and fulfils every private contest prize. StatsNGuts only displays the host's prize description.
Scoring
- Captain earns 2× fantasy points.
- Vice-captain earns 1.5× fantasy points.
- Batting, bowling, fielding and appearance points follow the published match-format rules.

Official platform contests
- Rewards follow the prize structure published for that contest.
- StatsNGuts validates rankings before rewards are confirmed.
- Participation alone does not guarantee a reward.
SNG Tokens
- SNG Tokens cannot be used to enter contests or leagues.
- They cannot be bought, transferred, sold or cashed out.
- They can only be redeemed for the Amazon voucher denominations offered by StatsNGuts.
- 10,000 SNG Tokens currently redeem for a ₹1,000 Amazon voucher.
Contest XP records long-term progress across eligible official platform contests. Your title changes when your total reaches the next published threshold. Private contests do not award Contest XP.
