Abdollah Ahmadzai

Abdollah Ahmadzai, born on June 26, 2003, in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler recognized as a promising young all-rounder for Afghanistan cricket. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in September 2025 during the UAE T20I Tri-Nation Series against the United Arab Emirates. Ahmadzai has been actively involved in domestic cricket, playing for teams including Amo Sharks, Hindukush Strikers, Band-e-Amir Dragons, and Pamir Legends across various regional tournaments like the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament and the Shpageeza Cricket League. He made his List A debut in November 2023, his T20 debut in August 2024, and his first-class debut in September 2025.

In August 2025, Abdullah was named in Afghanistan's T20I squad for the tri-series against Pakistan and UAE and later replaced Naveen-ul-Haq in Afghanistan's 2025 Asia Cup squad. Known for his bowling versatility and useful batting contributions, Ahmadzai has started making an impact at the international level and is viewed as a key future talent who can contribute with both bat and ball for Afghanistan's growing cricket ambitions.
