Ben Dwarshuis

Benjamin James Dwarshuis, born June 23, 1994, is an Australian left-arm fast-medium bowler who represents Australia in ODI and T20I cricket. Domestically, he plays for New South Wales and the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. Dwarshuis made his international debut in April 2022 and was part of Australia’s squad for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Known for his ability to swing the ball and his hard-hitting lower-order batting, he took his maiden five-wicket haul in T20 cricket during the 2021–22 Big Bash League season.

Dwarshuis has also played in franchise leagues overseas, including the IPL with Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals, and in England for Worcestershire. His performances in domestic and international cricket have established him as a reliable all-round option in Australia’s limited-overs teams. In December 2024, he signed a contract for a second stint with Worcestershire for the 2025 T20 Blast, continuing to build his reputation as a skilled pace bowler and useful lower-order batsman.
