Glenn Maxwell

Glenn James Maxwell, born October 14, 1988, is a dynamic Australian all-rounder known for his unorthodox and explosive batting, right-arm off-spin bowling, and exceptional fielding. He has been a key player in Australia’s limited-overs teams, contributing to World Cup victories in 2015, 2021, and 2023. Maxwell’s batting is celebrated for innovative shots like reverse sweeps and pulls, making him difficult to contain. His career highlights include scoring the fastest century in Cricket World Cup history (40 balls against the Netherlands in 2023) and becoming the first male Australian to score a double century in ODIs with an unbeaten 201 against Afghanistan in the same tournament, widely regarded as one of the greatest ODI innings ever played.
