Jaker Ali

Jaker Ali, a talented Bangladeshi cricketer, was born on 22 February 1998. His cricket journey began with his first-class debut for Sylhet Division in the 2016–17 National Cricket League on 27 December 2016. Prior to this milestone, he represented Bangladesh in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Transitioning to List A cricket, Jaker Ali made his debut for Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club in the 2016–17 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 26 April 2017. His skills and potential were further recognized when he was selected to join the Sylhet Sixers team for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League after the draft in October 2018. He marked his Twenty20 debut for the Sylhet Sixers during the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League on 16 January 2019. Later, in November 2019, he was chosen to play for the Dhaka Platoon in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.

Jaker Ali's international career took a significant turn in March 2023 when he received his first call-up to the Bangladesh cricket team for the T20I series against Ireland. This opportunity marked a new chapter in his cricketing journey, showcasing his potential to excel at the highest level of the sport.
