Ripon Mondol has rapidly emerged as one of Bangladesh’s most promising pace bowling talents, garnering international attention after a standout performance at the 2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup. A right-arm medium-fast bowler with natural rhythm and deceptive bounce, he led the young Tigers' attack with 14 wickets, earning a spot in the ICC's Team of the Tournament. Since transitioning to the senior domestic circuit, Mondol has been a consistent force for Dhaka Division and the Rajshahi Warriors, notably securing a top-two finish for Rajshahi in the 2026 Bangladesh Premier League with a clinical four-wicket haul. His ability to strike early and maintain pressure in the powerplay has quickly made him a fixture in high-stakes domestic competitions.

His international career took flight in late 2023 when he debuted for Bangladesh at the Asian Games, where he immediately impressed with a sharp three-wicket haul against Malaysia. Mondol has continued to refine his craft across formats, maintaining an impressive first-class record with over 40 wickets and a best of 4/50.
