Glenn Maxwell
One of the world's most dynamic and exciting T20 players, Glenn Maxwell, nicknamed 'The Big Show,' has been the captain and a cornerstone of the Melbourne Stars since BBL|08. He is a destructive right-hand batsman known for his innovative and powerful 360-degree stroke play. He holds the BBL record for the highest individual score, a spectacular 154 not out off 64 deliveries, and is the Stars' all-time leading run-scorer.
The Australian international all-rounder is a critical member of the national white-ball squads, where he has achieved historic feats, including scoring the fastest ODI century for Australia and an extraordinary unbeaten 201 during the 2023 ODI World Cup. In addition to his batting prowess, Maxwell is a handy off-spinner with 37 BBL wickets and is widely regarded as one of the best fielders in the world. His career includes stints with multiple IPL teams and international T20 leagues.
