Hilton Cartwright

Zimbabwean-born Australian all-rounder Hilton Cartwright is a hard-hitting right-hand batsman who provides useful right-arm medium pace bowling. He joined the Melbourne Stars from the Perth Scorchers ahead of BBL|09 and quickly became a key three-dimensional player, capable of batting anywhere in the order and dominating in the field. Cartwright has played over 100 BBL matches, with a career high score of 79 runs off 58 balls against the Brisbane Heat.

Cartwright is an experienced domestic player, having been a central figure in Western Australia's historic Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup three-peats between 2021-22 and 2023-24. His strong form led to his Test debut against Pakistan in January 2017 and his ODI debut later that year against India. He earned numerous accolades for his consistent match-winning ability during these seasons, including two Laurie Sawle Medals and WA's Four Day Player of the Year award in 2021-22.
