Prasidh Krishna

Prasidh Krishna is a tall and fiery right-arm fast bowler from Bangalore, known for his steep bounce, sharp seam movement, and skiddy pace. He made his domestic debut for Karnataka in 2015–16 and quickly rose through the ranks with standout performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His ability to trouble batters with bounce from a good length earned him an IPL debut with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018, where he impressed with his raw pace and control under pressure.

Prasidh made his international debut in ODIs in 2021 against England, grabbing headlines with a record-breaking 4-wicket haul on debut—the best by an Indian in ODIs. He transitioned into red-ball cricket with a Test debut in 2023 and has since been part of major tours, including Australia and England, where his natural bounce and ability to bowl long spells have added depth to India’s pace unit. In first-class cricket, he has consistently averaged under 22, with multiple five-wicket hauls, highlighting his red-ball potential.

In the IPL, Prasidh has played for multiple franchises, including Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, and won the Purple Cap in 2025 with a 20-wicket haul. His pace, combined with smart variations and the ability to bowl at the death, has made him a multi-format asset for India.
