Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant (born 4 October 1997) is an Indian international cricketer known for his prowess as a wicket-keeper batter. He represents the Indian cricket team across all formats and is particularly renowned for his consistency in Test cricket. Pant hails from Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, and began his cricket journey at a young age under the guidance of Tarak Sinha at the Sonnet Cricket Academy in Delhi.

Pant made significant strides in his cricketing career, making his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for India in January 2017, his Test debut in August 2018, and his One Day International (ODI) debut in October 2018. He has since become a pivotal member of the Indian cricket team.

In addition to his international success, Pant has also excelled in domestic cricket, representing Delhi in various tournaments. He made his first-class debut in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy and his List A debut in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Pant's remarkable performances include scoring 308 runs in a single innings during the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, making him the third-youngest Indian to score a triple century in first-class cricket.

Pant's talent extends to the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has played for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals). He has consistently delivered stellar performances, earning accolades such as the second-fastest century in the IPL and the highest individual score by an Indian cricketer in IPL history.

Off the field, Pant has faced personal challenges, including the loss of his father to a cardiac arrest in April 2017. Despite adversity, he has continued to excel in his cricketing career, earning recognition such as the ICC Men's Emerging Cricketer of the Year in 2018.
