Yashasvi Jaiswal is a stylish and aggressive left-handed opening batsman who has emerged as one of India’s brightest young stars across formats. Born in Uttar Pradesh and raised in Mumbai, Jaiswal’s journey from living in tents near Azad Maidan to wearing the Indian jersey is one of grit and determination. He gained national attention after becoming the highest run-scorer and Player of the Tournament in the 2020 U19 World Cup, followed by record-breaking performances in domestic cricket, including a double century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at the age of 17.

Jaiswal made a sensational Test debut in July 2023 against the West Indies, scoring 171 runs and immediately establishing himself as a reliable top-order option. He continued to impress in the 2024 Test series against England, where he struck consecutive double centuries and equaled the record for most sixes in a Test innings.
