Evin Lewis
Evin Earl Lewis, born on 27 December 1991 in Trinidad, is a left-handed opening batsman known for his powerful hitting and aggressive style, primarily in limited-overs cricket. He made his T20 International debut for the West Indies in March 2016 and his ODI debut in October 2016. Lewis is one of the few players to score two T20I centuries, joining Brendon McCullum and Chris Gayle, and holds the West Indian record for the highest T20I score of 125*.
Lewis has played for various T20 franchises worldwide, including Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, and has won titles with the Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League. Notably, he scored 176* (retired hurt) against England in 2017, the highest retired hurt score in international cricket.
He was part of the West Indies squad that won the 2016 T20 World Cup and has been recognized as one of the top limited-overs batsmen globally. Lewis’s explosive batting, including rapid centuries and record-breaking innings, has made him a key player for West Indies in white-ball formats.
