Emily Arlott
Emily Louise Arlott is an English cricketer who plays as a right-arm medium-fast bowler for Warwickshire and Birmingham Phoenix. Born in 1998 in King's Lynn, Norfolk, she began her county career with Worcestershire in 2013 and gradually established herself as a leading bowler. After a breakthrough year in 2019, she earned recognition as Worcestershire's Players' Player of the Year. Arlott has been a consistent performer in domestic competitions such as the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, Charlotte Edwards Cup, and The Hundred, achieving career-best bowling figures including a five-wicket haul with a hat-trick. She has also contributed with the bat, scoring her maiden List A half-century.
Internationally, Arlott received her maiden England call-up in June 2021 for the home series against India, being named in both the Test and One Day International squads. She was part of England's A squad touring Australia in late 2021 and was named in the Test squad for a match against South Africa in 2022 but missed out due to COVID-19. Arlott is regarded as a promising pace bowler with growing experience in England’s setup and continues to be a key player in domestic and franchise cricket.
