Emma McLeod

Emma Mary Amanda McLeod, born on March 28, 2006, in Masterton, New Zealand, is a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler for the White Ferns. She plays domestic cricket for Central Districts (Central Hinds) and has represented teams like New Zealand A Women, New Zealand Women Under-19, and North Island Women. McLeod made her international debut in ODIs on March 4, 2025, against Sri Lanka at McLean Park, Napier, followed by her T20I debut on March 14, 2025, at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. At just 20 years old as of May 2026, she has quickly risen through the ranks with her middle-order batting and spin bowling skills.

In her young international career, McLeod has played 6 ODIs, scoring 61 runs in 4 innings with a highest of 35 and an average of 15.25. Across 3 T20Is, she has accumulated 59 runs at a strike rate of 92.19, including a standout 44 off 32 balls against Sri Lanka. Yet to take wickets internationally, her off-spin adds all-round utility, while domestically she debuted in T20s for Otago Women vs Central Hinds in January 2024.
