Maddy Green

Maddy Green, full name Madeline Lee Green, born on October 20, 1992, in Auckland, New Zealand, is a right-handed batter and off-spin bowler who has been a key player in New Zealand women's cricket for over a decade. She made her international debut at the age of 19 in a T20I against Australia in 2012 and quickly established herself as a reliable middle-order batter, known for her powerful stroke play and versatility. Green has represented New Zealand in numerous ICC tournaments, including the Women's T20 World Cup and the Women's Cricket World Cup.

She has played domestically for Wellington Blaze, where she has been a captain and led the team to significant victories, including an unbeaten winning season in the Dream11 Super Smash. Maddy has also played in overseas leagues such as the Women’s Big Bash League for Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers, and The Hundred for Welsh Fire. In recent years, she has been a senior figure in the New Zealand team, contributing crucial performances with both bat and ball, and continuing to lead with her experience and consistent form.
