Molly Penfold

Molly Mae Penfold, born on June 15, 2001, in Kingston Upon Thames, England, is a right-arm medium-fast bowler for New Zealand's White Ferns. She moved to Auckland at a young age and rose through age-group ranks, representing Auckland Hearts domestically and teams like New Zealand A Women and North Island Women. A tall, powerful pacer, Penfold earned her first White Ferns call-up for the 2021 England tour, debuting in the third ODI at Leicester with figures of 2-42 to secure a win. She was a traveling reserve for the 2022 Women's World Cup and received her first central contract for the 2022/23 season. Her T20I debut came in September 2022 against West Indies in Antigua, followed by a World Cup appearance against Bangladesh.

Penfold has played 5 ODIs, taking 4 wickets at an average of 62.50 and economy of 4.46, with a best of 2-42, while batting lower-order for 2 runs.
