Rosemary Mair

Rosemary Alison Mair, born on November 7, 1998, in Napier, New Zealand, is a prominent right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter who plays for the New Zealand women's national cricket team and Central Districts domestically. Mair made her international debut in February 2019, playing her first Women's Twenty20 International against India and her Women's One Day International debut against Australia soon after. Since then, she has steadily established herself as a key bowler for New Zealand, known for her pace, accuracy, and ability to take crucial wickets.

Mair was part of New Zealand's squads for major tournaments such as the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020, the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup held in New Zealand, and the cricket competition at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where New Zealand won the bronze medal. In the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup, she took career-best figures of 4/19 in the group stage against India and contributed with 3/25 in the final against South Africa, helping New Zealand clinch the title. Mair has also played in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) for teams like the Hobart Hurricanes.
