Charis Pavely is one of England’s most promising young all-rounders, known for their left-handed batting and slow left-arm orthodox bowling. Born in Redditch, Worcestershire, Pavely has quickly progressed through England’s pathway system, moving from county cricket into the England Women Under-19 setup and eventually earning a senior international debut in 2024.

A naturally versatile cricketer, Pavely contributes in multiple phases of the game. With the bat, they are capable of anchoring an innings or accelerating in the middle overs, while their left-arm spin provides control and wicket-taking ability. Pavely impressed during the inaugural ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in 2023, where they played an important role for England and showcased maturity beyond their age.

At domestic level, Pavely has represented Worcestershire, Central Sparks, Birmingham Phoenix, Warwickshire, and London Spirit. Their breakthrough season came in regional cricket with Central Sparks, where consistent performances with both bat and ball highlighted their all-round value. In 2024, Pavely made their senior England Women T20I debut against Ireland and immediately caught attention with figures of 3/19, underlining their potential on the international stage.

Still early in their career, Pavely is viewed as part of the next generation of England Women cricketers capable of becoming a long-term all-format option. Their calm temperament, athletic fielding, and adaptability make them a valuable modern all-rounder with significant upside for the future.
