Alice Davidson-Richards

Alice Natica Davidson-Richards, born on 29 May 1994, is an English cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler for Surrey and Northern Superchargers. She began her county career with Kent in 2010 and has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, contributing to multiple title wins with Kent and playing for Yorkshire Diamonds in the Women’s Cricket Super League. Davidson-Richards has also played for South East Stars and Northern Superchargers, and had a stint with Otago Sparks in New Zealand. She has been a key all-rounder domestically, leading wicket-taker in several tournaments, and scoring notable innings including a List A high score of 92.

Internationally, Davidson-Richards made her England debut in March 2018 during a tri-series against India and Australia. She earned a rookie contract in 2019 and was part of England’s training squad during the COVID-19 pandemic. In December 2021, she was named in England’s A squad for the Australia tour and made her Test debut in June 2022 against South Africa, scoring a century in England’s first innings. She has played in all formats for England, with highlights including her Test century and steady contributions in limited-overs cricket.
