Amy Jones

Amy Ellen Jones is a prominent English cricketer known for her skills as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She represents Warwickshire, Birmingham Phoenix, Perth Scorchers, and the England national team. Jones made her England debut in 2013 and is a holder of an ECB central contract. Born in Solihull and raised in Sutton Coldfield, she began her sporting journey playing boys’ football before switching to cricket at a local club. Rising quickly through the ranks, she joined the Warwickshire Academy and England Development programmes as a teenager. Over the years, Jones has become England’s first-choice wicket-keeper, making her Test debut in 2019 and featuring in major tournaments like the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the Women’s Ashes.
