Charlie Dean

Charlotte Ellen Dean is an English all-rounder cricketer who plays for Somerset, London Spirit, and the England national team. A right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler, she made her international debut in September 2021. Dean quickly established herself as a leading bowler, becoming the joint-leading wicket-taker in her debut WODI series against New Zealand with 10 wickets. She has since played across formats, including Test, ODI, and T20I, and was part of England's squad for major tournaments such as the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup and the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

Dean has achieved significant milestones, including being the seventh-highest wicket-taker in the 2022 World Cup and recording her maiden international five-wicket haul in 2023. In April 2024, she became the fastest bowler to reach 50 WODI wickets and set a record for the highest 7th wicket partnership in WODIs alongside Amy Jones. She was also the third English woman to take an ODI hat-trick in 2024. Dean continues to be a key player for England, named in squads for upcoming major series including the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the 2024 tour of South Africa, and the 2025 Women’s Ashes series in Australia.
