Zaida James
Zaida James, born on 30 October 2004 in Saint Lucia, is a left-handed batting all-rounder and slow left-arm orthodox bowler who plays for the Windward Islands women's cricket team, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinbago Knight Riders. She was named to Cricket West Indies' high-performance training camp in 2021 and represented the West Indies A team in their series against Pakistan. James made her WT20I debut for the West Indies on 30 January 2023 against India during the South Africa Tri-Nation Series.
Since her debut, James has been recognized as a promising talent in West Indies women's cricket and was included in the squad for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. She also featured in the West Indies team for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Pakistan, continuing her development as a key player for the future of West Indies cricket.
