Asif Khan

Asif Khan, born on February 15, 1990, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, is a Pakistani-origin right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler who represents the United Arab Emirates in international cricket. Beginning his cricket career playing domestic cricket in Pakistan for Lahore from 2007 to 2014, Asif moved to the UAE in 2017 with the aim of playing for the national team. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the UAE on March 5, 2022, against Oman. Since then, Asif Khan has become a key player for the UAE, known for his aggressive batting style and useful off-spin bowling.

Asif made headlines in March 2023 when he scored the fastest ODI century by a player from an associate nation, reaching 100 runs in just 41 balls against Nepal. He followed this with a second ODI century of 103 runs against the United States during the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.
