Charith Asalanka

Charith Asalanka is a talented Sri Lankan cricketer who has made a significant impact on the international stage. Born on June 29, 1997, in Elpitiya, Asalanka is a left-handed batsman and a part-time off-break bowler. He has represented Sri Lanka in all three formats of the game, making his international debut in 2021.

Asalanka's domestic career has been equally impressive. He made his first-class debut for Galle Cricket Club in 2015 and has since played for various teams, including Sinhalese Sports Club, Mohammedan Sporting Club, Jaffna Kings, Kandy Warriors, and Colombo Stars. His performances in domestic cricket have earned him recognition, with Asalanka being named the Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year in 2015 and 2016.

On the international stage, Asalanka has established himself as a key player in the Sri Lankan team.
