Bastiaan Franciscus Wilhelmus de Leede, born on November 15, 1999, is a Dutch cricketer who comes from a cricketing family. His father, Tim de Leede, also played for the Netherlands, representing the team in 29 One Day Internationals (ODIs).

De Leede's cricketing career began with his List A debut for the Royal Netherlands Cricket Board XI (KNCB XI) during the Netherlands tour of Zimbabwe in 2017. He then made his first-class debut for the Netherlands against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup in 2017. In 2018, he was added to the Netherlands squad for the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier and was named in the Netherlands' Twenty20 International (T20I) and One Day International (ODI) squads.

De Leede made his T20I debut for the Netherlands against Ireland in June 2018 and his ODI debut against Nepal in August 2018. In 2019, he was selected to play for the Rotterdam Rhinos in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament, though the tournament was later cancelled.

In 2021, De Leede was named in the Dutch squad for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In 2022, he announced that he would be playing for the MI Emirates team in the new ILT20 competition, and in 2024, he switched to the Desert Vipers.

De Leede's standout performances came during the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, where he took a five-wicket haul and scored his first ODI century against Scotland, helping the Netherlands secure their spot in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. This achievement made him the first Dutch cricketer and the fourth player in the world to score a century and take a five-wicket haul in the same ODI match.

At the 2023 Cricket World Cup, De Leede continued to impress, becoming the first player in ODI history to score 50+ runs and take a four-wicket haul in consecutive matches. He also set the record for the most wickets taken by a Dutch cricketer in a single World Cup edition. Despite a setback in the match against Australia, where he conceded the most runs by a bowler in an ODI match, De Leede's overall performances have cemented his status as a rising star in Dutch cricket.
