Brandon King

Brandon Alexander King is a Jamaican professional cricketer known for his aggressive style as a right-handed top-order batsman. Born on December 16, 1994, he represented the West Indies at the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup before becoming a consistent run-scorer in the Caribbean domestic circuit, particularly for Jamaica. His ability to blend a correct batting technique with a brisk scoring rate established him as a key talent.

King's breakout came in the 2019 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), where he was the leading run-scorer, aggregating 496 runs at an impressive average of 55.11 for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. This performance accelerated his inclusion in the West Indies national team, making his One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) debuts in November 2019 against Afghanistan. He has since become a fixture in the white-ball squads, known for his impact as an opening batsman. He made his Test debut in 2025. His notable white-ball achievements include scoring a match-winning century (102 off 117 balls) against England in an ODI in November 2024.
