Darwish Rasooli

Darwish Rasooli, born on December 12, 1999, in Laghman, Afghanistan, is a promising right-handed batsman and part-time right-arm offbreak bowler. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in March 2022 in a T20I against Bangladesh. Rasooli has steadily built his reputation as a dependable middle-order batsman with a calm, effective style at the crease.

In domestic cricket, he has played for teams including Mis Ainak Knights, Balkh Legends, Dhaka Dynamites, Khulna Tigers, and Kabul Zalmi. Rasooli has an impressive domestic record with over 2,000 first-class runs at an average of over 62 and more than 2,300 runs in List A cricket at an average near 49.
