Dhruv Parashar

Dhruv Parashar is a highly talented right-handed all-rounder and one of the most exciting young prospects in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) national team. Born on December 20, 2004, in Pune, India, and educated in the UK at Wellington College, Parashar rose to prominence as a standout performer in the 2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup. A versatile player who can impact the game in all departments, he holds a unique global record as the first and youngest cricketer to both open the batting and the bowling in the same international match. He made his senior T20I debut against Afghanistan in late 2023 and his ODI debut in November 2024, quickly proving his worth as a tactical 'mystery' off-spinner and a hard-hitting middle-order batter.

As of early 2026, Parashar has become a mainstay in the UAE’s white-ball squads, recently featuring in the T20I series against Ireland in January 2026. His development has been bolstered by significant experience in the franchise circuit, where he represents the Desert Vipers in the ILT20 and has previously played for the Sudurpaschim Royals. His international resume already includes a maiden ODI half-century against the Netherlands and career-best T20I bowling figures of 4/12 against Bhutan.
