Jack Brassell

Jack Brassell is an emerging talent in the Namibian national team, primarily recognized as a right-arm medium bowler with the ability to contribute valuable runs in the lower order. Born in March 2005, he gained significant attention during the 2024 ICC Under-19 World Cup, where his standout performance of 3/28 against Australia Under-19 showcased his potential to compete against elite opposition. Since making his senior international debut in early 2024 against Nepal, Brassell has been a frequent presence in the squad, particularly in the T20I and ODI formats. As of early 2026, he has claimed 11 T20I wickets and 9 ODI wickets, with his career-best figures of 2/11 against Nepal serving as a testament to his tactical precision.

Heading into the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Brassell has continued to refine his craft, recently recording impactful spells during the 2025 Africa T20 qualifiers and the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. His development has been bolstered by his experience in domestic leagues such as the Namibia Premier League, where he has represented the NPL Bears and Naankuse Lions.
