Marcus Stoinis, affectionately known as 'The Hulk,' is a powerhouse right-handed all-rounder and a cornerstone of Australia’s white-ball dominance. Born on August 16, 1989, in Perth, he first captured the world's attention in 2017 with a legendary unbeaten 146* against New Zealand, nearly pulling off an impossible chase from number seven. A dual World Cup winner (2021 T20 and 2023 ODI), Stoinis is celebrated for his explosive finishing ability and his 'heavy' right-arm medium-fast bowling, which has often provided Australia with critical breakthroughs in the middle and death overs.
