Nicholas Kirton
Nicholas Kirton is a Barbadian-born cricketer who represents both the Barbados national cricket team in West Indian domestic cricket and the Canada national cricket team in international competitions. He is a left-handed middle-order batsman.
Kirton was born on May 6, 1998, in Barbados. His mother was born in Canada, making him eligible to play for both Canada and the West Indies.
In his domestic career, Kirton has played for the Montreal Tigers in the Global T20 Canada tournament, made his first-class debut for Barbados in 2019, and represented the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League in 2020.
Kirton made his international debut for Canada in 2018, playing a List A match in the ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. He has since represented Canada in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier and made his T20I debut against Jersey in October 2019.
In March 2023, Kirton was named in Canada's squad for the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off. He made his ODI debut for Canada against Jersey in that tournament.
