Kenjige was born in Auburn, Alabama, where his father worked as an agricultural researcher at Tuskegee University. When Kenjige was one year old, his family moved back to India, to Chikkamagaluru District in Karnataka, where his father runs a coffee farm. Kenjige studied at The Lawrence School, Lovedale, where he represented the school cricket team across different age categories. He later played university cricket in Bengaluru, representing Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. In 2015, Kenjige moved back to the U.S., first to Virginia and then to New York, where he found work as a biological technician.

Kenjige's international career with the United States began in January 2018 when he was named in the squad for the 2017–18 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies. He made his List A debut for the U.S. against the Leeward Islands in the same tournament on January 31, 2018.

In the following years, Kenjige continued to represent the United States in various international tournaments. In August 2018, he was named in the squad for the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 Americas Qualifier tournament, where he was the leading wicket-taker with 12 dismissals in six matches. He was also included in the U.S. squads for the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies and the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman.

Although Kenjige was named in the United States' Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against the United Arab Emirates in February 2019, he did not play in the matches, which were the first T20I fixtures played by the U.S. national team. In April 2019, he was named in the squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia.

Kenjige's international career continued to progress, and in June 2019, he was named in a 30-man training squad for the United States cricket team ahead of the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament. He was one of twelve players to sign a three-month central contract with USA Cricket the following month.

In September 2019, Kenjige was named in the United States' One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2019 United States Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut for the U.S. against the United Arab Emirates on December 8, 2019, during the 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series.

Most recently, in March 2024, Kenjige was named in the United States' squad for their T20I series against Canada, where he made his T20I debut on April 7, 2024.

Kenjige's journey from India to the United States and his subsequent rise in the American cricket team showcases his talent and dedication to the sport. As the United States continues to develop its cricketing infrastructure, Kenjige will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the team's future successes.
