Saiteja Mukkamalla

Saiteja Reddy Mukkamalla is a prolific right-handed opening batsman and a burgeoning star within the United States national team. Born on April 9, 2004, in Plainsboro, New Jersey, Saiteja is a standout product of the American youth system. He gained international attention in 2023 when, at just 18, he became the youngest player to score an ODI century for the USA, smashing an unbeaten 120^* against the UAE. Known for his elegant stroke play and tactical composure, he has quickly become a cornerstone of the American top order, amassing over 1,200 ODI runs with an impressive average near 40.

As of late January 2026, Saiteja has been named in the United States' 15-man squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. His selection follows a dominant 2025 season where he excelled in both international and domestic arenas; he struck a blistering T20I century ($100$ off 48 balls) against Oman in February and a career-best ODI score of $137$ against the UAE in November.
