Salman Agha

Salman Ali Agha, born on November 23, 1993, in Lahore, Pakistan, is an international cricketer who serves as Pakistan's T20I captain and ODI vice-captain. A right-handed batter and off-break bowler, he plays domestically for Southern Punjab and Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Salman began his cricket journey with Apollo Cricket Club in Lahore and made his first-class debut in 2013. He later represented Federal Areas in the Pakistan Cup and Edmonton Royals in the Global T20 Canada, where he was the leading run-scorer with 218 runs.

Salman made his Test debut in July 2022 against Sri Lanka and his ODI debut against the Netherlands in August 2022. He has scored three Test centuries, including a maiden hundred against New Zealand in December 2022. In February 2025, he scored his first ODI century with an unbeaten knock of 133 runs against South Africa, helping Pakistan secure a crucial victory in a tri-nation series. Known for his reliable performances with both bat and ball, Salman has become a key player for Pakistan across formats.
