Shayan Jahangir

Shayan Jahangir is a Pakistani cricketer who currently plays for the United States national cricket team. Born on December 24, 1994, Jahangir is a right-handed batsman.

Jahangir's domestic career began in Pakistan, where he made his first-class debut for Pakistan International Airlines in the 2014–15 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on October 12, 2014. He later played for the Barbados Tridents in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), making his Twenty20 debut for the team on September 5, 2020.

Jahangir's international career started with the Pakistan national under-19 cricket team, where he played seven youth one-dayers in 2013.

In January 2021, Jahangir was named in a 44-man squad by USA Cricket to begin training in Texas ahead of the 2021 Oman Tri-Nation Series. This marked the beginning of his journey to represent the United States national cricket team.

Jahangir made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the United States in November 2022 against Namibia. He went on to achieve a significant milestone in his international career, scoring his maiden ODI century against Nepal in the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. Jahangir's unbeaten 100 runs from 79 balls, batting at number seven, showcased his batting prowess and ability to perform under pressure.
