Shreyas Movva

Shreyas Vasudevareddy Movva is an Indian-born Canadian cricketer who has represented Canada in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

Movva, a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper batter, made his ODI debut for Canada on 8 February 2024 against Nepal and played his last ODI match on 10 February 2024, also against Nepal. In T20Is, he debuted on 14 November 2021 against Panama and played his last T20I on 14 November 2022 against Bahrain.

Movva was born on 4 September 1993 in India and later moved to Montreal, Canada in 2016 to attend Concordia University. He was the first player from Quebec to be selected for the Canadian national cricket team in twelve years.

In October 2019, Movva was named as the vice-captain of Canada's squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies. He made his List A debut on 8 November 2019, playing for Canada against the Leeward Islands in the Regional Super50 tournament.

Movva has also been selected in Canada's squads for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament in Antigua and the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A tournament in Oman.

Off the field, Movva is a software engineer by profession.
