Sompal Kami

Sompal Kami is a legendary figure in Nepal’s cricket history, serving as a premier right-arm fast-medium bowler and a capable right-handed batter. Known for his longevity and consistency, he holds the unique distinction of being a bridge between eras, having represented Nepal in both their first T20 World Cup appearance in 2014 and their return in 2024. As one of the few players to feature in Nepal's inaugural ODI match in 2018, he has developed into a seasoned leader of the pace attack, capable of delivering sharp movement with the new ball and maintaining discipline in the death overs. With over 80 T20I wickets and 85 ODI wickets, Kami remains a cornerstone of the national side, currently ranking among the top ICC associate all-rounders as of early 2026.
