Deepti Sharma

Deepti Sharma, born on August 24, 1997, is a prominent Indian all-rounder known for her left-handed batting and right-arm off-spin bowling. She plays for India internationally and represents Uttar Pradesh and UP Warriorz in domestic and franchise cricket respectively. Deepti made her international debut in 2014 against South Africa and quickly established herself as an integral part of the Indian women's cricket team with her consistent all-round performances.

She holds the record for the highest individual score in women's ODI cricket for India with 188 runs and was part of a world-record 320-run opening partnership with Poonam Raut against Ireland in 2017. Deepti became the youngest Indian woman to take a five-wicket haul in ODIs with figures of 6/20 against Sri Lanka. Besides her ODI and T20 success, she made her Test debut in June 2021, impressing with both bat and ball. Deepti was the leading run-scorer for UP Warriorz in the 2024 Women's Premier League and also took a hat-trick in the WPL, earning the Most Valuable Player award. She was a key member of India's squads in the Women's Cricket World Cup, T20 World Cup, Commonwealth Games, and other major tournaments. Known for her composure and skill, she continues to be a vital backbone of Indian women's cricket.
