Fargana Hoque Pinky, born on March 19, 1993, in Gaibandha, Bangladesh, is a prominent right-handed top-order batter for the Bangladesh women's cricket team. She started her international career in 2011, making her ODI debut against Ireland in November of that year, followed by her T20 International debut against Ireland in August 2012. Known for her solid batting technique and ability to play under pressure, Fargana has been a key player for Bangladesh in major tournaments, including the ICC Women's World Cup and Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. She was part of the historic Bangladesh team that won the Women's Asia Cup in 2018, marking the country's first major international cricket title.

Fargana's career highlights include becoming the first Bangladeshi woman to score 1,000 runs in WODI matches in March 2022 during a World Cup game against Australia, and in December 2023, she made history again by scoring the first overseas century for a Bangladeshi woman cricketer. Fargana has represented Bangladesh in various tournaments, including the South Asian Games, where the team won gold in 2019, and the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Pakistan.
