Harleen Deol

Harleen Kaur Deol, born on June 21, 1998, in Chandigarh, India, is an all-rounder in Indian women's cricket known for her aggressive right-handed batting and handy leg-spin bowling. She represents Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket and made her international debut for India in 2019 in both WODI and WT20I formats against England and South Africa respectively. Harleen gained global attention for a spectacular acrobatic catch against England in July 2021, which earned praise from cricket legends and the Indian Prime Minister.

She has been an important part of India’s squad for major tournaments including the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. In the inaugural Indian Women's Premier League (WPL) in 2023, Harleen played for the Gujarat Giants, scoring over 200 runs and being among the tournament's top performers.
