Jessica Mackenzie Kerr, born on January 18, 1998, in Wellington, New Zealand, is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler who plays for the New Zealand women's national cricket team and Wellington Blaze in domestic cricket. She made her international debut in January 2020 in an ODI against South Africa and quickly established herself as a key bowler with her ability to swing the ball and take crucial wickets. Jess also contributes with the bat in the lower order, adding depth to New Zealand's lineup.

Kerr has been a consistent performer in New Zealand’s national side, representing the White Ferns in major international tournaments including the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup held in New Zealand, and the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Although she was selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games squad, she was ruled out due to injury. Jess is also known for balancing her cricket career with her profession as a school teacher. She is the sister of fellow White Fern Amelia Kerr, and both have been valuable assets for New Zealand cricket. Kerr continues to play an important role in the bowling attack, combining skill and experience to bolster her team's efforts on the world stage.
