Kranti Goud, born on August 11, 2003, in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, is a fast bowler and promising all-rounder for the Indian women's cricket team. Emerging from a humble rural background, she started playing tennis-ball cricket before transitioning to leather-ball cricket at age 14. Kranti quickly rose through the ranks due to her pace, accuracy, and athleticism. She plays domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh and represents UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), where she impressed in her debut season by taking 15 wickets at an average of 14.40, including a four-wicket haul—the second youngest to achieve this feat in WPL history.

Kranti made her international debut in May 2025 during the Sri Lanka Tri-Nation Series and was soon included in India’s ODI and T20I squads for the home series against England. She made a significant impact by taking a six-wicket haul against England in July 2025, becoming the third Indian (men's or women's) to take six wickets in an ODI innings in England. Known for her fiery pace and discipline, she has quickly become a vital cog in the Indian bowling attack. Kranti's inspiring journey from a small village to international cricket serves as a beacon of hope and determination for aspiring cricketers.
