Lea-Marie Maureen Tahuhu, born on September 23, 1990, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a prominent right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter representing the New Zealand women's national cricket team. She made her international debut in June 2011 and has since been a key strike bowler for the White Ferns across all formats. Known for her pace and ability to swing the ball, Tahuhu has played significant roles in major tournaments such as the ICC Women's World Cup, ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Commonwealth Games, where New Zealand secured a bronze medal in 2022.

Tahuhu has played domestic cricket for Canterbury and has extensive experience in global franchise leagues including Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League, Surrey Stars and Lancashire Thunder in England's Kia Super League, and the Gujarat Giants in the Women's Premier League. Over her career, she has taken more than 100 wickets in ODIs and nearly 100 in T20Is, with notable bowling figures like 5/37 in ODIs and 4/6 in T20Is. Beyond her cricketing achievements, Tahuhu is married to fellow New Zealand cricketer Amy Satterthwaite. Lea Tahuhu remains a mainstay of New Zealand's bowling attack, valued for her consistency, skill, and leadership on and off the field.
