Rameen Shamim

Rameen Shamim, born on January 19, 1996, in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan, is a right-arm off-break bowler and left-handed batter who plays for the Pakistan women's cricket team. She made her international debut in May 2019 during a T20I series against South Africa and her WODI debut in December 2019 against England. Rameen has played in multiple international matches since then, known for her accurate off-spin bowling that can contain runs and take key wickets. She has taken 9 wickets in 8 WODI matches and 7 wickets in 11 WT20I appearances, consistently providing disciplined bowling performances.

Apart from her international career, Rameen has been active in domestic cricket playing for Karachi, Sindh, Omar Associates, and Saif Sports Saga teams. In 2021, she was named captain of Pakistan Women's A team for their one-day matches against West Indies and played crucial roles in several national tournaments. Despite not having extensive opportunities, Rameen has shown professional dedication and impact in her bowling for Pakistan, making her a vital part of the team’s spin attack lineup.
