Shawaal Zulfiqar

Shawaal Zulfiqar, born on June 27, 2005, in Lahore, Pakistan, is a talented right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler who has quickly made her mark in Pakistan women's cricket. She represented Pakistan in the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa in January 2023 and was named in the squad for the 2022 Asian Games. Awarded a central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board in August 2023, Shawaal made her Women's T20 International debut against South Africa on September 1, 2023, and her Women's One Day International debut a week later.

Since then, Shawaal has been part of Pakistan’s squads in major series, including the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Known for her batting skills and versatility, she is regarded as one of the promising young players in Pakistan women's cricket, and her growing contributions to the national team highlight her potential to be an important player in the coming years.
