Smriti Mandhana

Smriti Shriniwas Mandhana, born on July 18, 1996, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is one of the premier Indian women cricketers renowned for her exquisite left-handed batting and elegant stroke play. She serves as the vice-captain of the Indian national team and plays domestically for Maharashtra, as well as captaining Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Mandhana is the first Indian woman to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket—Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.

Mandhana made her Test debut against England in 2014, where she contributed significantly to India's historic win, followed by important hundreds in subsequent matches. Her international career took off rapidly with memorable innings in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup, where she was one of the top scorers, and she has set numerous batting records since then, including the fastest fifty for India in T20 internationals and being the first Indian woman to achieve 10 ODI centuries. She was the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year in both 2018 and 2022, and earned the BCCI's Best International Cricketer award in 2018.
