Sneh Rana, born on February 18, 1994, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is a right-arm off-spin bowler and right-handed batter who plays for the Indian women's national cricket team and domestically for Railways. She made her international debut in 2014 in both ODI and T20I formats against Sri Lanka. Despite a knee injury in 2016 that sidelined her from international cricket for five years, she made a strong comeback in 2021 by making her Test debut against England.

Rana is known for her all-round capabilities, including a gritty unbeaten 80 in Tests that helped India draw a match against England, and being the first Indian woman to take a ten-wicket haul in a Test match. She achieved her maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs against South Africa in April 2025. Sneh's resilience and determination are key traits, overcoming injury setbacks and personal hardships while contributing significantly with both bat and ball in major tournaments such as the 2022 Commonwealth Games where she took crucial wickets. She has been a consistent performer in domestic and international cricket and was bought by Gujarat Giants in the inaugural Women’s Premier League in 2023.
