Zakary Foulkes

Zakary Glen Foulkes, born on June 5, 2002, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pacer who plays for Canterbury in domestic cricket and represents New Zealand internationally. He made his debut for Canterbury in the 2021/22 season across all formats and has since become a consistent performer. In first-class cricket, Foulkes has taken 50 wickets in 17 matches at an average of 26.04, including two five-wicket hauls, while also contributing with the bat, scoring 412 runs with a top score of 61. In List A cricket, he has claimed 37 wickets in 26 matches at an average of 23.86.

Internationally, Foulkes debuted for New Zealand in T20Is during the 2023/24 season and has played seven matches, taking nine wickets with best figures of 3/20. He also made his ODI debut in the 2024/25 season. In franchise cricket, Foulkes represented Warwickshire in the 2024 T20 Blast, where he took eight wickets in seven matches. Known for his versatility as an all-rounder, Foulkes continues to be a promising talent for both Canterbury and New Zealand.
